Went alot faster than I thought because the letter is show on outside, meaning if the letter is facing you then the stamp is in the right direction making about fool proof. I ditched the plastic stamp holder because it's faster without it if you know how to use a hammer and how hard you'll need to hit it.

    The blue stamp holder works VERY well. I initially tried hand holding the stamps without the holder and it was much harder to get a good strike, and when you missed the stamp went flying off. I used a 3-4 pound sledge hammer which worked nicely. I also did this on my concrete garage slab. One trick I learned is to stamp rows 13-24 first normally, then flip the plate so that row โ€œ1โ€ is on the right side (upside down) and at the bottom facing you, then stamp with the letters in the holder reversed (letter facing away from you). This allows the holder to rest firmly on the plate instead of half on half off the plate. Note that I am right handed.
